| FTBL Report: Florida hiring Alabama assistant coach Austin Armstrong to become next defensive coordinator

I believe the problem will be more of finding someone who wants to work with Saban, rather than finding a quality coach. He's had a few say no thanks recently.

@BamaFan334 asking or wondering about Napier's future is something a lot of people are doing. I don't know how much we can take from year one other than at least one question; what happened on that trip to Nashville? I also believe you have to give Napier a break due to what Mullen left in Gainesville. Ol' Dan left MSU stagnant, how much of that did he leave with the Gators?

No doubt. I think he definitely needs time to change the culture and get his thing going. I was more or less talking aboit Florida's trigger happy decision making because they want to win.

Huge pile of poo losing Armstrong to UF. Wondering if this took CNS by surprise?
He probably knew beforehand that he was talking to Florida about the job. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened while he's been at Alabama. Enos did this , and if I remember correctly, gattis did the same.

If nothing else Saban needs to shuffle Roach and get a D line coach… If he doesn’t get a much needed secondary coach..

Can’t blame Armstrong for taking the UF gig, but sucks to happen now
He absolutely should take the job. He's also worked under Napier before, so there was that familiarity in play as well. I'm all for Bama saying "fuck it" and bringing in Pruitt now. Maybe wait for the April hearing first, but bring him in after we find out what goes on with that.
