Just hard to believe based on how they play but maybe some of this grinding out a win or two plus the quality wins is doing it. Sure would be nice to see them find their shots and gain some confidence and margin.

Brackets this season are relying more on metrics than eye tests. The "whole body of work" includes how efficient the Bama offense is no matter how they're shooting.

Also, it's pretty nice being solidly in the tournament at the point in the year. First time since '05 and '06 since we'll have made it back to back. We've been a perpetual bubble program for as long as I can remember.

Why is it hard to believe? You said the same thing last year. They are 17-9 and ranked they have played the #1 SOS. No team has three better wins than Gonzaga, Baylor and Houston. They are the only team that has not played a Quad 4 game.

Context is important I said the same thing last year with regards to Bama being #1 seed. That is rarified air and that was why it was hard to believe last year. This year it is what I am seeing on the basketball court.

Fair enough you probably remember better than I do. With that said this team can have some horrendous shooting, FT's, rebounding and turnover nights. On the nights they clean that up are really good.

Oh and I do think they have show improvement the last few games and hope it continues.
