Mercy me I hate these games against Houston. Three wins against Kelvin Sampson, but lord all three are near hospital visits.

That was a great team effort. Gritty performance with great effort. Glad to see the team find ways even when they went a several minute scoring drought in the 2nd half. Defensive effort and hitting free throws kept it close enough to pull it out in the end. They may be spent for tomorrows game but that was the game the needed to pull out.

My only gripe is I wish Oats had called a TO during that run by Houston... you could feel it shifting even before it shifted. He lets his guys plan on,way too often for my tastes in those situations, but I don't guess he's changing at this point. Great win though and good to see the team get to enjoy some of their hard work. I love playing these tough, physical teams early to get UA ready for what's to come with the teams like auburn and the Vols. The boys weathered an early turnover storm tonight, I think 7 in the first few minutes... then only had 8 the rest of the game.

My only gripe is I wish Oats had called a TO during that run by Houston...

I agree he just will not call a TO to stop a run and he leaves players in with 3 fouls those are my only two gripes.
But I sure am glad we got him!

He and Saban had to have contract incentives as to why they hold all their timeouts. It cost us vs Purdue IMO.
