🏈 Oregon Fans "We want Bama"

What little i've seen of Oregon to gauge them by, well UT is a joke apparently and a disgrace to the SEC. I was wondering how BJ was going to do there but I swear looks like same ole same ole no matter who's behind the wheel of that crappy ass program. I hate UT but geez they made the SEC look horrid. I don't know what the hell they were thinking when they decided to add Oregon to their schedule years ago. They can't even compete within the ACC what makes them think they could of competed with the Ducks?

We got a long road to get there but if it were two teams I'd love to play its Oregon or OU. Yea the ducks are fast but they are small guys. They do not have a Manziel. We've seen how they aired against even a airly decent SEC team (Barn NC). Still a long ways down the road with a lot of football ahead so there is no telling how it will all shape up in the end.

First of all, let me be clear: I hold the UT program in lower esteem than I do Auburn.

That said, I've seen some significant improvement in the little I've watched UT this season. One glaring example is the discipline they are playing with right now. Through three games so far the team has accrued a total of six penalties on the year. Add to that one of the best turnover margins in the NCAA so far.

Can't compete with the ACC? You've lost me a bit here. The last time they played a team from the ACC was their opener last year when they defeated NC State. They are 1-1 against the ACC in the regular season since Fulmer left (one additional loss to VT in the bowl game during Kiffin's year.)

I will admit I haven't watched UT aside from seeing bits of the Oregon game. What portions i did see they looked lost out there. Maybe it really is the raw speed of Oregon hype but they didn't look much improved to me. A lot of fans on volnation (i know) seem pretty disappointed in what they've seen so far as well. Maybe they will pull it together but honestly I'm fine with seeing them lose every game for the rest of my life lol.

i didn't know they were playing that disciplined. Still can't get over the fact we got so many yesterday. Gotta be one of the most since Saban being here.

I hate UT worse than any other team, but to base how Butch Jones is going to do there on last night's game against Oregon is dumb.

Oregon has recruited FAR better than UT which is why they got beat last night. Butch Jones will do fine there

In all seriousness, they would be our worst match up outside of A&M. Doesn't particularly mean they'll be able to put up the same kind of numbers, and I base that off of them lacking a big WR like Evans(1st round bound) and horseshoe up the ... backyard football of the lone JF.

In the spirit of genuine coach speak, long way to go before even discussing this.

Do penalties equal a lack of self discipline? Don't pile on, I'm really asking the question. The only thing that worries me about this team is that they might be a little big for their britches. I guess we'll see. Maybe those britches are a perfect fit.

What would you call a false start? Illegal procedure? Illegal substitution?

I'll admit there are a few thrown that aren't a lack of discipline but when I see a lack of a lot of 5 yard penalties it tells me that team is focused and disciplined enough to pay very specific attention to the smaller details.

I'll go as far as to say a lot of penalties falls back into how a kid is coached. Anyone who has more penalties on a season than another team will never admit a position coach on another team is better than theirs...but if you have one team making few mistakes than another what does that tell you?
