I thoroughly enjoy Charles, you don’t see much non-self serving broadcasting. I’m cynical as hell but I have zero doubts that Charles is as genuine as can be. If I could pick one celebrity to sit down and have a beer with, it could very well be him.

I've met him a couple of times out and about in Bham. Really down to earth, very approachable and friendly, no airs about him... He even remembered me the second time I met him.

Love Sir Charles. Him and Shaq are great. I don't care he went to Auburn. I like to fact he talks about his alma mater during the broadcasts, but he's also not scared to praise other teams. He's like one of us up there.

Hard to say for sure since the footage was spliced and edited, but I got the sense at the end that he wanted his grandson to Google him later on because he still longs for the male affirmation he never received from his own father. Just goes to show the importance of a father's love. Love that guy, even if I don't always agree with his rants.
