Bench Milroe?

  • Yes, immediately. He’s a F- version of Jalen Hurts.

Nah, he didn't throw the game, but he's seeing ghosts.

He looks like a Rookie QB in the NFL that's been rocked, kinda like Bryce Young this year. He's shell shocked and it's getting worse, not better. All the confidence in the world after Georgia and even some swagger for Vandy but from about 5 mins left in the Vandy game onwards, he's been a shell of his former self.

Talk about him being 1st overall has evaporated and I'd say he'd be lucky to be a day 2 selection if this trend continues, very disturbing trend overall for the offense as a whole but Milroe is magnified because of the position he plays.
No way I’d draft him at all at this point. Waste of a draft pick.

Wow, I did not know it was this bad. I was getting a drink when it happened, so missed it. With that effort, I'd rather see him benched. That was pathetic. Not expecting a quarterback to get his head across and drive him out of bounds, but I've seen countless kickers put their bodies out there more than that. You could be the biggest Milroe supporter in the world, but there is no excuse for that. I rarely blame one player for a loss, but he was a major reason we lost and he caused us to fail on an extremely high level last night.

That’s right, filling in for Tua. I’ll give him somewhat of a pass since he wasn’t our starter.
One was a bad throw while the other was just more bullshit from that stadium. We were going into to score and Mack throws to Najee before Najee was ready and the ball bounced off his hand to the AU guy who took back about 85-95 yards

These last two years of #4 have ruined football for me. I just can't watch anymore. That is sad but it is what it is.

I seems to me that Milroe being inconsistent, which has been an issue for him his entire Bama career, is being confused with Milroe hasn't progressed/improved any in the last year. When things aren't going well, he regresses in some areas, which is a concern. There's also been a reason for that, to a degree (physically), why that's happened both this season and last. That's not an excuse, it's a reality, and it's also part of it when you're in his position. It's also true that he has multiple areas where he needs to continue to improve. Earlier this season though, Ray Charles could see that he was running the zone read better than he ever had. His intermediate throws have been better this season. He's been better at making his reads... not where he needs to be, but better. Again,he still needs to improve in most all areas, and his feel in the pocket is certainly one of them.

EDIT: Also meant to add, he's on his 3rd OC in 3 seasons. For a college QB, that is a lot of turnover to deal with.
THis whole thing reminds me of Jalen Hurts.... Fans were on his ass.. he left to transfer and got whole lot better. Jalen will figure it out eventually whether it's at another school or in NFL.

He may or may not pan out as a pro player... there's a lot that goes into it, some he can control, some he can't. But, he's going to get drafted and get an opportunity, despite what some fans seem to believe.

I don't think he will. Hurts never got flustered and torpedoed the whole team like Milroe does. Hurts was always cool as a cucumber and there was always the idea he could strike at any moment and keep it close. Outside of the Natty against Georgia, I always had high confidence in him.

Milroe...nah. when he has a bad day, the team has no chance. When he's on, watch out oposong defenses, but as soon as one bad thing happens, watch out because there are more to come.

Milroe plays but with a short leash against Auburn. Not reading what the defense is doing and int’s gets him a quick hook if I was coaching him on Saturday AND I WOULD TELL HIM THAT TODAY!
LOL

C'Mon Man, If this guy hasn't been yanked after his play, then he will never get pulled at Bama.

If Kalen had a nut sack he would have meet #4 at the hash on the pick six and walked him back to the bench!
Something is wrong.
