It is out somewhat earlier than the last couple of years. Note that we play two Big 12 teams (Kansas State and Oklahoma State), two ACC teams (Georgia Tech and Maryland) and one Big East team (Georgetown) team. Two of our opponents reached the final four (VCU and Kentucky) and we have the usual SEC grind. Hopefully we will fare better against what looks like a difficult non conference slate than we did a year ago, and not leave any room for doubt on selection Sunday.

Thank goodness that whoever is in charge of the OOC scheduling opened their eyes. Oakland, Dayton, and VCU are quality mid majors and we have a bunch of major conference teams. It also looks like we are on nat'l TV a bunch for in conference games. We're gonna lose some OOC games playing a schedule like this but it's worth it. And I'm just excited as a fan to watch good matchups.
