How many of those were throw aways with Bernard in the vicinity? I would suspect at least 3-4.

Will 99% guarantee the game stats you see are including 2 throw away passes from when Simpson was under pressure. One was in the 1st quarter with 6:19 left and Simpson threw it OOB to Bernard's side of the field, but it wasn't intended for him. The other was late 2nd quarter (2:57 to play)... similar play, Simpson was about to be sacked, tried to throw it deep to Williams, but the pressure forced a bad throw which landed like 15 yards from Bernard instead.

Really need Duke to upset Virginia if lose to UGA. That will create the "spot" for a 3-loss team, of course they may choose Texas over us because Florida beat FSU this past weekend making our y loss to FSU worse than their y loss to UF. That appears to be the way they think.

Intentional throw aways going down as targeting a certain receiver “because he was in the area”, spiking the ball to kill the clock, counting as an incompletion and a pass bouncing off the hands of a receiver and into the hands of a defender as an interception. Hell! I threw it away to avoid the sack, I was stopping the clock and I did everything but run out there and hand it to the receiver!!

I think the thing with Williams is that he appears scared to death to go across the middle. To me at least.

He can stretch the field down the sidelines all day, but when your qb is getting pressured constantly, hard to throw it down the field. Ty appeared to be running for his life again against Auburn.

He also appears to struggle blocking in the edge. Something that’s super important for jet sweeps and any type of outside run.

That’s just my observation.
