Just a reminder, Cincy played more teams that lost 10 games this year (3) than ones that had won 9 or more (2). Five of their 13 opponents had 3 or fewer wins this year.

I don’t care what the talking heads say out loud, watching Alabama play every game this season and watching Cincinnati play multiple games, there is now way this game is close.

We have more NFL talent on the bench then they do on the field. The level of competition is not even in the same stratosphere (don’t get to use that word very often).

I'm about as cautiously pessimistic about this game as I was cautiously optimistic about the Georgia match up.

The Big Meech injury along with motivational factors are worrisome on this turn around. I think it will be competitive... JMO

ESPN talking heads act like their two cornerbacks are both All-America. They may be good but they are going to have a hard time containing Williams. I'm sure they will double team so other receivers like Brooks are going to have to step up and #18 is going to have to find all the soft spots. (Remember at the beginning of the year when we all thought that Jojo Earle would supplant him?)

The offensive line has to repeat their performance against Georgia. I believe that if they do, we will have a good time running on them and that will open up everything.

They are extremely multiple on offense, like a lot of other teams in their league. They will therefore be harder to defend than Georgia. Jerome Ford (Alabama transfer) is a great running back but hopefully our defensive line mans up and that will mean that we can at least make them one-dimensional in the passing game. Still, they use a lot of motion like kiffin at Ole Miss. Hopefully our secondary communicates well and our defense shuts them down just like we did with Ole Miss.

If we play like we did against Jawja we’ll win by 40

Their corners are highly thought of by scouts. Ahmad Gardner is gong pro early. Coby Bryant will also get drafted, but not as high. Their safeties are also really good.

Looking at the rankings...if a one-loss UGA can be ahead of an undefeated Cincy, why is a two-loss Houston team ahead of 9-3 Kentucky? They probably have received the least amount of respect in the poll. The two- and three-loss teams are all over the place. They got the first four right and hit the bar. Iowa performed exactly as I thought they would, and they dropped just two spots. Ridiculous. I'm calling KY over Iowa, so glad to see that matchup.

There's no way some of those folks pay much attention to the games. I looked at the twitter posts from yesterday of one of the guys that voted Cincy #1 to see if he said anything about the Bama game. Despite numerous tweets, I saw zero football talk... looked like he was just enjoying a day in the city with his family.
