Albeit, in Austin (insert Colt McCoy joke here).

Gotta admit, I'm not a Tide Pride member, and have been to only a handful of games over the last decade.

So I wouldn't know first-hand... Have we EVER had Navy SEALs deliver a game ball like this?
If not, WHY NOT?

Have had a bunch of milatary groups jump in...really awesome...
But Navy SEALs though?

They're like... the ELITE of the elite.

I had a retired Navy SEAL client of mine love the work I did so much that he actually gave me his BUDS school graduation Trident lapel pin. He graduated as an officer (gold, when non-officers get silver-he was a freaking MASTER CHIEF), did some tours and missions, and eventually became BUDS instructor before retiring. He now works in IT at the VA here in town.

He was so impressed with me and the work that I did that at the close of our transaction he said "You did such a great job for me and my wife, and I know how much you honor our men and women, specifically SEAL teams, so I wanted to give you this" and he slid it across my desk with his wife smiling.

I carry it with me in my pocket everywhere as a reminder. Every current and former military I've spoken with about it (I've had Army SPEC Ops officer clients) have attested of how much of an honor that is. As in, I've been told that I can drink anywhere for free because of that pin, if I wanted to.

I'm not that kind of guy, though. I LOATHE stolen valor arseholes with a venomous passion.

Not sure on SEALs specifically, but it has been done some. Here’s a video from a couple years ago and another older on from @doemasters’channel...

Those are awesome.

And, utmost respect to everyone in uniform, especially anyone in any branch that have become the elite Special Forces in their respective branches.

But, SEAL team is a different level of badass.

Those were only one or two guys, yet an entire team of SEALS, dressed in UT t-shirts, mind you (which also speaks to their next-level bad-assedness because they didn't need jump suits, just t-shirts), dropped not only the game ball, but a flying flag presentation.

We need a SEAL team game ball drop this year.

that is insanely cool. I get cold chills just looking at it

I worked at BUD/S for a few years in the late 90s 🤫

Watched the leap frogs jump during the Command Master Chiefs retirement and two of the guys got their chutes tangled. Reserve chutes had to be pulled super close to the ground.

Good group of guys, thankful for what they do.

There are lots of people pretending to be one, many who get exposed by the real ones.

Alabama likes to support their own. Alabama has ROTC but not NROTC, therefore the Army gets to jump into BDS.

Right?

I mean, the price that was paid to earn that.

Such an honor.

It's why I carry it with me. Every time I reach into my pocket, I'm reminded of the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make.

And somebody paid the price that only 10% of applicants make it thru, AND he earned Master Chief status, and yet he shared that honor with me.

So humbling.

You ever see that YouTube content by an actual retired SEAL that exposes stolen Valor posers?
