It was, and was really good in 17, and would've been good his entire tenure there had he stayed.
And this is a whole other conversation, we're strictly talking about his ability to coach against offenses you suggested he wouldn't be able to.... when he already has.
It's entirely up to Deboer if he wants any part of Pruitt if he was able to get the job. I don't know what he personally wants in his defensive coordinator's, but Pruitt would without a doubt be a great DC for this program. Again, this is if Wommack is gone after this season. And if the only way we can continue that continuity you talked about is either Wommack staying, or deboer promoting morrell, or one of the other positions coaches as his DC. Unless he just promotes from within all the time, then there's going to be lack of continuity because guys are going to take other jobs and move around.
