It is very likely, judging by how the state's Attorney is unrolling all of this, that no charges will be filed. In this country, the accused is presumed innocent - or at least that's how it's supposed to be even though the court of public opinion so often ignores that. Having said that, these crimes are often tragic. If there are no charges filed, and if it is because there is not enough evidence to prosecute with - he said, she said (Winston claims it was consensual), it is a sad thing for that girl if she thinks she was really raped. I don't claim to have any answers, and I'm not even going to get in to the whole football star thing. It's just a sad state overall. It's a lose-lose for that girl no matter how you slice it.
