🏈 Jameis Winston is being investigated for sexual assault

It was unlikely from the get go. He said-she said, star athlete, etc. Though I am glad the news that the PD threatened the young woman came about. That office apparently has a lot of crap going on there, so perhaps the larger authorities will work on straightening them out.

Jameis Winston will not be charged in connection to sexual assault accusation, according to ESPN.

According to search warrant: Victim states she had 5-6 shots at a local bar, got in a cab with a black male, entered an apartment, male undressed her and had sex with her despite her attempts to fight him off and her telling him to stop. She identified him later upon seeing him on campus (and DNA proved her correct).

Winston is expected to speak at 3:30 ET.

Good, he's not guilty. That way when MSU beats OSU, and AU beats Mizzou, FSU can lay the beat down AU.

I gotta say this. Them not bringing charges is not the same as him not being guilty. Since there is no trial, there is no finding of guilt or innocence in this. Just like people saying he is guilty, this doesn't really answer anything in this one. In the eyes of the law, he can truthfully answer that he has never been arrested or charged or tried on this and therefore it has no bearing on him at all. Basically, this is just rumors and innuendo now.

See I would say this has Duke Lacrosse type feel all over it. It's not even right to assume someone is guilty until proven innocent, much less guilty in perpetuity when he wasn't even charged.

Duke Lacrosse feel? Really? I think it has the exact opposite feel. I have no idea what happened, none of us do or probably ever will, but based on what has been reported it sure seems like the Tallahassee police dropped the ball and that the DA just wasn't going to be able to recover from it.

With that said, I feel bad for Winston. I feel bad for the girl. And I feel bad for any woman/girl that gets sexually assaulted in Tallahassee in the future. There are no winners here.

The SEC is a machine. That hasn't changed. FSU and OSU just haven't played teams that are as physical and fast as them consistently. Auburn has. That's what sets the SEC apart right now. I don't doubt FSU would be favored and I don't doubt they would be a very dangerous opponent but I just don't see them beating either Auburn or Missouri should they meet. I also don't think they would beat Alabama - and I would call USC even money with them.

Besides you should want your enemies to be strong rather than weak. I actually hope FSU and OSU both lose and we play you guys again.
