For the first time in my life we actually have a home field avantage. If losing the last decade has done anything good it has got our crowd involved. We finally have a stadium that is loud and intimidating 
That place was rocking in the fourth!! 8)
You couldnt ask for a team to play any harder than ours did. Those guys put in on line play after play ;tr Thats all you ask from a team and its coaches.
Down 17 to 3 is there any doubt what would have happened to this team a year ago? (and yes that was a shot at Shula its been awhile and the law of averages said it was time for another from me)
We are still 2 years away from having the talent to compete with the LSUs of the world yet we had a VERY good chance at the upset. :shock:
Some of you may disagree but I think BAMA has about 4 players that would register on the LSU two deep chart.(Gilberry would see game action but wouldnt start, DJ would still be a hoss, Simeon would play on athletism alone, and Andre Smith) That will soon change 8)
We lost the game in heartbreaking fashion but the atmosphere and the feeling of what is around the corner has me grinning from ear to ear. We still probably have a loss (or 3) left this year but the future is looking like a bear!!
P.S. losing still SUX but believing in my team (as opposed to doubting) has made being a BAMA fun again!!! ROLL TIDE 2009 cant get here fast enough :wink:
