Torres just missed a GSHR earlier in the 7th inning. It was a few feet shy of going out and would have been a bases clearing double at the least, but A&M CF made a great play on it.

Alcock has pitched his ass off today... 7 innings, 4 hits, 0 runs. Very efficient day against a tough lineup. Would be nice to give him a couple more runs here in the 8th before the pen takes over...

That's a wrap! And a sweeeeeeeeep! Alabama wins, 2-0! Snell led Bama at the plate today, 3-3 (solo HR) with a walk, and scored both runs. Alcock pitched a gem, 7 shutout innings. And Bama is lucky to have 2 guys that are SEC Quality closers in the pen... quite a luxury... today, it was Myers who closed out the final 2 innings (Ozmer got the save on Friday).

Next up: South Alabama Tuesday night at home, then Bama welcomes the top ranked Vols to the Joe for 3. Tennessee just swept Florida this weekend at home.
