Joe Frazier floored Muhammed Ali and broke his jaw with a left hook in round 15 during their first encounter in 1971, but Ali shook his head as if to say that it didn't hurt. In the fight of the Century. I was also Ali first fight back after his changing his name.

Ali was outmaneuvered by Norton's unorthodox fighting style, which involved jabbing from below and crossing his hands for defence. As the final bell rang, Norton won on a split decision, igniting a controversy in the boxing world. Soon after the fight, Ali was treated in hospital for a broken jaw. This happen in 1973.

So it look like both broke Ali jaw.

Yep, unfortunately for him he came through at the wrong time otherwise he would have been viewed as one of the greatest. Was overshadowed by Ali who I never really cared for.

Ahh, the phantom punch. I have to admit, it looked like a dive, but no proof.
