"I thought he fully explained why he said what he said. Missed his teammates, but it's obvious he likes Auburn. " per Schlabach's Twitter
"He wanted to finish what he started at Florida; he's not saying he doesn't want to be at Auburn." per Schlaback on Finebaum's waste of airspace
What a horrible person he is--he would prefer to still be where he committed previously along with his friends and fellow teammates that went through his recruitment with him.
"Sometimes you visit a place and you know you belong. I belong at Auburn." per Cam himself, ESPN spotlight before last week's game

You're right--he looks miserable.
I realize you guys are going to continue to try and refute anything I say, which is fine. However, what most people (including Schlabach) took from his quote is that he would prefer to finish what he started. If you read the full quote (it was published on a different site) he references it being harder to leave his friends--it sticks in my head because he said "most hardest thing I've had to do" and terrible grammar irritates the hell out of me. Most Auburn fans overreacted to the quote, most Alabama fans either didn't know/care about it or tried to extrapolate something that simply isn't there. The fact of the matter is that if Cam had truly wanted to stay at Florida, he would've. He wasn't kicked off the team, the charges were dropped--he had no reason to leave other than to find a better opportunity for playing time. He was a young man that made a stupid decision that has been twisted (i.e. he "stole" the laptop--he bougth a stolen laptop, huge difference) and blown up. What teenager hasn't done something stupid? Ask your sons if they've done something they could go to jail for. I bet you if they're honest with you more than half would say yes. I wish he hadn't said it because of stuff like this but I admire the guy's honesty. As it stands, he's the starting QB for the #4 team in the country and is a front-runner for the Heisman. Life could be much worse, ya know.
And BearFacts, yes I believe that was actually a direct quote (the "rented mule" thing). I don't think anyone guessed that Fannin would fumble every thing he touched (my God if we win a trophy don't let that kid hold it). On the called passing plays I think a lot of Cam's runs are him panicing because he's not comfortable in the offense yet. He's still missing WIDE open receivers and pulling the ball down to run. Some of his stats are a product of necessity, some are attributed to his need to learn the offense. Against Kentucky we did the same exact thing Bama did against Arkansas last year--run your best damn player to seal the game. Don't let the ball leave his hands. I may be wrong about it being Arkansas but I remember a game where most of the drive Ingram lined up in the Wildcat and ran damn near every play. Didn't that happen again this year? Anyway, I wish I had a witty response to your claim but his father did say that and he does run the ball entirely too much.
