| FTBL Harsin is out at Auburn

Grimes makes sense in that he would be a “cheap date”, their buy out/pay out for hush money may be about to catch up with them. I’m sure those 50 business men Terry Bowden spoke of are ecstatic about “getting the gang back together again”.

Dan Lanning is another name popping up...
Whoever that is...
You know who he is; former GA at Bama who coached with Kirby for four years—three of which as the UGA DC. Lanning is the current head coach at Oregon. Oregon, who is currently 7-1 and sitting at the top of the PAC. He's entertaining the Auburn job when his current team still has a shot at the playoffs?

Lanning to Auburn makes no sense to me. I know we saw Mario leaving for his alma mater after winning the PAC and there's the big difference in Cristobal leaving Oregon. (Ironically, he's probably enjoying the NIL funds more in Miami than he would have if he was still at Oregon—even with Knight.)
And do we ever have a suggestion for that"bama defensive staff"
I don't know what this means.

Yella Fella will bring out Bobby Lowder from retirement to help them make the hire this time around. As long as Nick is at Bama and Kirby kicking azz at UGA then the HC at AU is in a world of shit recruiting wise. AU has always depended on the state of Georgia players to keep them competitive. The portal can get them back in business quicker but the competition for really good players from the portal is strong.

I understand Grimes has started contacting HS coaching staff's telling them he's about to begin recruiting their kids for Auburn.

My mention of Grimes the other day was as much deductive reasoning as anything based on tid-bits heard here and there. Now there certainly looks to be momentum behind this story. I don't know for certain if he has the job. According to what's being reported he thinks he has the job.

I've also heard, several times over the last few weeks, AU will look to snag one of Bama's defensive staff.
I'm guessing Robinson?

Lol. U know what it means.....lol

As far as AU hire goes. Really hard to care.

I would think a blockbuster would be what the fan base wants. Lanning might be close &
has good connections

Lanning isn’t entertaining the Barn! Barn throwing names out there like shit on a wall and hoping something sticks. Lanning may be one to look for when Saban hangs up his whistle though.

I saw several, including Cublic, post to social media as if Caddy has waved a wand over the program. LOL

Obviously the Barn will never be on equal ground with Bama, but how far have they fallen to act like a coach who doesn't even have coordinator experience suddenly can right that ship because he took MSU into overtime and lost???

I think if they end up with Crayola it'll be hilarious!

I hope and pray they end up with Caddy. Not gonna happen, but a guy can hope!
