Well it's over, the little piggy's have been reduced to pulled pork and their fans sent scurrying back to eat their words until the week before next seasons game.

So when is the first insult from a Gator fan? After all they are a more sophisticated people. :lance:

What are your thoughts on this game? I know Muschamp will have them ready on Defense, and Weiss I am not sold on as a college coach.

If this were in T-Town I wouldn't sweat it at all.

As it stands, I think it is close but there is no reason to feel Bama would lose. Could they be upset? Sure--raucous crowd and a talented Florida team could pull it off, but I don't see it.

It will be a fun one to watch. I'm not sold on McCarron or Brantley but Bama has more weapons to fall back on.

I put the over/under in Tebow references at roughly 79

Since Gary Danielson is calling the game, put me down for an OVER!

Since this game is in "The Swamp" I am calling this game our toughest of the season. This one is going to be a good one.

I'm trying to convince myself of that. But, the more I think about, the more it reminds me of Clemson a few years ago...

I hope your right, but Florida's defensive front and their speed on offense has me thinking this one may be a little closer than I would like.

Ahh, worried? What's everyone talking about?

I can't think of this Florida game just yet. Just can't. Makes me way too uneasy. I was probably one of the few concerned about this game back in the summer. I knew their schedule set up nicely during Sept. and had a feeling this would be a night game. Maybe it's not a bad thing that Florida comes in with all kinds of confidence and actually a lot of media attention.

At some point during the Arkansas game I truly enjoyed what I was observing instead of worrying about every possession and how we must keep the ball, must stop them yet again, etc... I certainly hope to be able to do the same Sat. night. It looks like a truly special Alabama team, but unfortunately many of us were saying the same thing last year after beating Florida. What I worry about doesn't matter one bit though. I know our staff will be more than prepared, and I hope our players understand that on game day it's all up to them (their effort, their attitude, their reaction, etc...). This is where this team can definitely be different than last year's team. I just hope they can hear me cheering them on from here. :a:

they are more of a running team...our MO is to stop the run and force em to beat you throwing...so far they havent been consistent with throwing....i expect with our DB's and pressure that wont change this week.

granted they are a fast team...but i feel we will keep their running game in check.

Joe - Have you seen what Tommy thinks of the game?

No, in all seriousness, I see this as being a very tough game. Mosley is probably our fastest LB, which would be a nice commodity to have in this game. I personally see this as a game that will be determined by their ability to get on the edge of our defense. If they can get on the edge of our defense, this opens up their passing game, and kinda gets us "off tilt."

If we can keep them contained, and avoid turnovers (duh) then we should win.

I don't want to say we have better athletes, but we have athletes that have been in a system longer than theirs'. Florida is not what they were 2 or 3 years ago, but they are still a team that I feel we need to run the ball against to maintain possession, and keep their offense off the field. They still have the ability to score on any given play...plus, the Swamp is not an easy place to play, especially at night. I expect that stadium to be rockin', and this will be the first TRUE road test for AJ.
