⚾ 🥎 🥎 Alabama @ Florida - Series begins tonight at 5 pm (ESPN+)

That was a tough one... that horror show of a 6th inning showed up again today, it's been a Bama killer. But then the girls come back and take the lead and it feels like maybe they take another big step with a series win. That dropped foul though by Valentine was a killer... then the rest of the defense tightened up too.

Your referring to Bear to Saban I assume? If Saban to CKD the jury is still out on that one.
You are going to strike a chord here, Mando.

Perkins could, and should, have won one. But he was like Curry's sweaters; wrong place, wrong time.

I'll admit there is a bias here with it comes to Coach Stallings. I was on the sidelines covering him at that point. But good lord, you can't dismiss the success he had in Tuscaloosa. It was overshadowed by showmanship with SOS; but with Stallings it was a football coach.

I've never openly called for a Bama coach to be fired during the season: EXCEPT one. DuBose, after the loss to State. I wrote a piece about that when I was writing "Morning Musings" for another site. That's one coach I did not like. On the field, or off the field.

With me, part of this is true and part of it isn't.

Do you notice how quiet the football building is right now? At Bama, that has never been a bad thing.

We're back to questions being relatively small things. IE: there's one spot on the OL. IE#2: When the media tries to stir up a QB controversy at Bama...the chances are very high there isn't one.

A lot of things about last season could have gone differently. Among those, we'll see in the future, is how a lot of fans reacted.

It did strike a m7-5 chord lol. Now lets see if you know real music theory lol.

I do believe Perkins could have also. Just did not hang around long enough. Back when 10 games really meant something I used to say any coach would win 8 games at Bama. It was those big time games that seperated the good from great. Oh and I was and I am a big Stallings fan. That little thing called hard nosed defense and just general toughness ....

I started out as a music major and had Theory 1 and 2. Minor 7th and a flat 5th. 😇
