🏈 Fascinated with DL/OL

No one has popped yet for sure... Payne flies around in the run game but has no impact on passing downs.

R. Davis and Quinnen Williams are most intriguing to me at this point... Hoping Q Williams comes on with some seasoning.

On the OL... No idea. Just haven't meshed so no one looks dominant. Hopefully soon

It's a team game. Its hard for anyone to be successful unless everyone is doing their jobs. I'd have to go back and watch again, but I bet opposing O's are not having to chip at the edges as often due to lack of edge rushers which obviously makes it easier for them to get everyone else blocked.

While Buggs and Davis have not been consistently raising hell I think both have flashed that they are capable of being big time DL eventually. Buggs has been right at the QB's shoestrings several times now as the QB got the ball out quick, but he doesn't seem to be getting any of the credit that Davis has received. I guess because Davis was hyped all preseason.

The first 3 quarters of FSU looked like we had not missed a beat from last season so that should tell you how important having those freaks at OLB are to this system. The injuries to Lewis and Miller have diminished without a doubt what this defense was going to be this season. Period. No debate.

Would be nice if Mathis or Ray could contribute at some point this season. Players do not stick around for five years these days. Especially the ones that Bama recruits.

This is what life is like post Allen, Tomlinson, Anderson, Williams, and Foster. The good news is this offense is about to take some of the pressure off of the D. Buckle up.
