Morris's health? What's up with that?

Reading through these posts and it appears that Coker had a terrible day. Listen to Saban's presser and he felt Coker was decent considering his limited practice this week. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder or just trying to throw people off?

No matter how horribly Coker performed, Saban wouldn't come out and say it publicly.

@CrimsonBoz @Atticus How is Foster handling the defense? And has his tackling improved?
Seems to have a much better understanding his responsibilities. Still plays very fast and a violent tackler- His technique is much improved. Never once saw him lead with his head today. Also no longer wearing the shoulder pad neck brace. I also think playing alongside Reggie is very helpful for him also

I dunno how on earth Coker is in this conversation.
Absolutely agree Boz. His ineffectiveness today cannot be blamed on his toe/missed practice. He had no evidence of a limp/wasnt favoring either foot in warm ups or scrimmage itself. The guy simply cannot play QB in this league. I cant ever recall Saban saying a player looked bad in a scrimmage. IMO Coker looked really bad again today. The 2 TD throws he made- 1 to Mulaney- a great shoestring catch on a terrible throw. The second, an unbelievable mid-air adjustment by Ardarius for a TD on another terrible throw.

Exactly what I was saying when I reported it. His goaline TD was an awesome job by Mulaney stopping in stride and falling back while catching the all. Same for stewart. These kinds of throws will get recievers KILLED against good secondary teams.

Bateman has always looked the part. I've always thought his drop back, footwork, and release were very typical of a pro-style QB. Plus he's always done well in the A-Day games. Figured he just couldn't get it worked out in practice for whatever reason, but maybe now it's starting to click.

Wasn't it just a week ago that he was on transfer watch? lol

@bcracker No worries. I just found it interesting that Saban mentioned Coker without being asked, so obviously Saban has not given up on him yet. Who knows maybe film review will change his mind. I guess we will see who get the majority of the reps in the next few weeks.
