LOL, Reed chasing Barnett.

You'd run like that too IF those MONSTERS were chasing you!! LMAO

Boz, how drake look and how did they use him in practice rb , wr,. Did he take any hard licks. thanks
Drake had a nice run and some WR, slot duties. He is a game changer just like before. Yeah they wanted him to get hit. He seemed fine with it. I watched his cuts and legs. He looks like the drake of old and hey he didn't fumble.

Passing attempts distributed among QBs + total number of rushing attempts = CNS was using this scrimmage to see how each QB responded to different situations. It sounds like passing attempts were more than typically seen in a scrimmage/game and the running game was reduced. Barnett got the smallest number of attempts which tells me he's no longer in the game. Bateman and Coker were almost even followed by Morris (but CNS didn't mention Cornwell). That could mean that they wanted to see more of Bateman or that he was clicking. CNS mentioned the attempts but didn't mention the completions.

For those in attendance, what kind of pass plays did each QB have and who was completing them?

Pass plays were random really.

Hitch, screen, 7-10 yard slants, fades, go routes etc. The goaline stuff was standard. Play action with a rollout reciever.

Likes it been mentioned they gave Coker the spot light after morris and it was not good. Then came in Bateman and he lit it up.

Both morris and Bateman were the guys. Coker was given the benefit of the doubt with an extra series and went 3 and out.

The reason morris didn't get more looks looks is he didn't need them.

@CrimsonBoz, @Atticus, my son is a member of the B'ham REC and was at the scrimmage. He said the best hit of the day was when Reuben Foster took Henry off his feet. Did either of you see that hit?

BTW, he has Morris #1 and Bateman #2. He said the guy sitting next to him said Morris hasn't thrown an interception all fall camp. If true and after CNS's statements about him in the press conference, he's bound to be our man.

Yeah I kinda thought the eddie hit on Harris was better. I mentioned it earlier.

Yeah falls in line with exactly what I said.

Best hit of the day... Eddie Jackson welcoming Damien Harris to the sec.
Agree Morris/Bateman 1 and 2. Would have Bateman 1 as per my previous posts. Morris led offense accounted for 1 fg outside of goal line situations- no td- few situations vs first team d.
Would not be surprised to see both get pt vs Wisconsin

Is Eddie tackling well this year? He did have a habit of going for the Big hit with the shoulder only and not wrapping up. Is he any bigger? He always had a good frame but was slender, probably because speed was at a premium when he played CB.

I bet he'll be better this year now that his knee surgery is 16 months or so behind him.
