Arkansas is playing decent football. It's been my opinion since fall camps this was a loss for ND. Arkansas doesn't have a chance to break into the top 25. They weren't receiving any votes in either poll and ND is in Fayetteville in two weeks.
USC? I can see them breaking into the top 25. They have Illinois (top ten) and Michigan (top 25) left on their schedule before they face ND. Last week they were 29th/30th in the two polls. Notre Dame hosts the Trojans. If they can win there ND is 1-2 against ranked teams finishing 10-2 (if they run the table.)
Boise State? It's post Arkansas so it may not even matter. They aren't receiving any votes (as of last week) so it really may not matter.

- This morning, do they still have a shot? Maybe. Do they need a 9-3 team to make the playoffs?
- If they lose to Arkansas? Done, but with some laughs.
- If they just lose to USC? Again, done. But, with an "oh well."
