I've watched the ESPN National Signing Day show for the last five years. For the first time no one chose us live and there were five recruits with Bama caps on the tables. Looks like there is no way to over take Clemson for the #1 class and looks like we will finish #2 and there is nothing wrong with that. So it's time to coach them up. Roll Tide!

Are the other commits planning on signing in Feb or are they unsure still or is it a numbers thing with outgoing JRs? Not sure what's going on but would be nice if the JRs knew what their draft grade would be so they could decide whether they are staying or going that would be nice.

Well if anyone went to defense it would be Edwards and I doubt he's played on that side. I think Ford probably transfers out before long tho. Never can have enough good rbs in this conference. I always roll my eyes when people want to move a rb to defense ...will never forget some in our own fanbase wanting Derrick Henry at LB. I laugh to this day about that one but also glad our staff wasn't stupid enough to do it.

I agree on Ford. I think we all agree Robinson has proven to be at minimum a solid and dependable option worthy of carries. Sanders was getting rave reviews before the injury... And now 2 high level RB's coming in along with an aged & stronger K. Robinson in the fold. That's going to be a lot to overcome

I'm just now getting a chance to sit down and look at everything (Haven't fully done it yet) but I listened to Finebaum this afternoon, while waiting on my wife (I know I should blame myself for listening). The way he's trolling Alabama fans is extremely lazy these days, almost to the point where he comes off as desperate.

He talked about - for like 20 minutes - how massive of a disappointment this class was because it was No. 2 instead of No. 1 (even going as far as to say "Alabama behind Clemson... where have I heard that before?"). Then he played part of Saban's presser today and kept harping on how "disappointed" and "subdued" he sounded and like he had no energy and was depressed. He even brought on an "Alabama fan" to talk about how embarrassed and pissed off she would be if she was a parent of one of the players signed. Its almost as if they've never seen a Saban press conference. It's borderline pathetic at this point. He also pointed out a number of times how Saban being able to pick and choose his recruits in Louisiana was over and put words in Cecil Hurts' mouth suggesting he said that, too.

Finebaum is a troll but very good at it. He has trolled his way to big time bucks. I never cared for the caller parts but he would have good guests.

I watched the College Football live show and they covered recruiting. Luginbill was on the show (do not recall the other 2). They started out the show talking about Clemson and then went straight to LSU. From their I think they went to Oregon. Not one word about Bama until they finally mentioned Bryce Young. That was pretty much it. You have the #2 recruiting class and they are an after thought smh... Now that I think about it OSU was not mentioned either.
