I haven't looked around yet...any details on how the scholarship numbers will work out? If the cap remains at 13.5 for softball, there's some high school kids who are going to miss out.

Thought I read somewhere that they were lifting scholarship requirements to accommodate incoming Freshmen.

They raised the numbers but I can't find hard info on what the new ones are. Only baseball received a roster limit raise.

Members also adjusted financial aid rules to allow teams to carry more members on scholarship to account for incoming recruits and student-athletes who had been in their last year of eligibility who decide to stay.

Two Saturday's ago while on a trip to Lowe's I saw dozen's, and dozen's, of boats headed to the waters. I remarked to a friend how busy it had to be at the docks and by Monday reports from DNR had the waterways around Charleston busier than what we see on the 4th of July.

Now, the Governor has closed on the boat landings. That may not seem like a big deal but when it's just two of us that wanted to go fishing today?

I found this:

"The NCAA’s historic ruling for spring sports, “in a nod to the financial uncertainty faced by higher education,” has given individual universities “the flexibility to give students the opportunity to return for 2020-21 without requiring that athletics aid be provided at the same level awarded for 2019-20. This flexibility applies only to student-athletes who would have exhausted eligibility in 2019-20.

That means that athletics directors and maybe coaches, too, are going to have to decide for their own departments and teams if seniors returning for another season receive the same exact athletic scholarship, reduced aid or, potentially, no money at all."

In other words, athletes can come back for their senior season but there are no guarantees that they'll have financial aid.

According to my buddy, they've closed Lake Tuscaloosa, even if you have a boat docked at you lakehouse. City owned, they've pulled the plug on most everything.

As promised earlier by the POTUS, data was collected for 15 days and they're delivering a much stronger message now.

You'll see from the beginning of the POTUS speech, they've added an additional 30 days to the social distancing plan, through the end of April. This appears to be influenced by data from Italy suggesting they've peaked after a month. Mitigation is our only option at this point.

A few years ago, one of the boys was working at a nice country club and they swapped out their range balls. Gave him their old ones, over 4,000 range balls were boxed in the garage. A driving pad on the dock gives my middle son a diversion while he's quarantined in the lake basement. He lets the boats play through.
