One thing that occurred to me recently is....they have never been able to produce a vaccine for HIV. So...just playing the what if game.....what if...they can't produce one for this either? Just fucking chilling to even think about.

I am one that honestly believes there are cures. Telling me that much money put into the research and the smartest brains on Earth we don't have a cure somewhere? I honestly believe there is a cure for cancer too. Better than chemo.

The governor did this? You got a link or anything, I cant find any info?

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Governor Henry McMaster today issued Executive Order 2020-16, which orders the closure of all public access points to the state’s beaches, as well as closure of all public boat ramps, landings and other access points on the state's lakes, rivers and waterways.

As a result of behavior observed this past weekend by the Department of Natural Resources and SLED, it has become necessary to close public access to our state’s beaches, and to close boat ramps and landings on our state’s lakes, rivers and waterways,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “This is unfortunate for those who chose to responsibly follow the instructions of our public health officials, but it is a necessary action to prevent the spread of this dangerous virus.”

If you have a boat already docked in a waterway, are you prohibited from leaving its mooring?

I believe there is a limit on how much a school can get.

I don't know how they'll disperse now with the kids on B-ball revenue from CBS.

Worth following...
A few years ago the NCAA dropped an additional 200 million to D1 schools SAF's. That was in addition to the 500 million annually dispersed. The article is probably pretty easy to find: circa 2016-2017.

“This Section does not apply to individuals possessing a current, valid commercial fishing license or permit to the extent such individuals may seek to utilize or rely upon public piers, docks, wharfs, boat ramps, or boat landings in connection with commercial fishing activities,” the governor’s order reads.

The order does not impact the rights of private property owners living on beaches, lakes, rivers, or waterways in any way.

Oh shit, I forgot you dont live in Alabama.

Regretfully, impeaching the POTUS was more important

He was acquitted on Feb. 5. Late Feb. he was briefed on how severe it was going to be, the next day he held a held a big party with a ton of people at his golf club and spent the weekend hanging out and golfing. For the next three weeks he went around telling everyone that was no big deal, "that it would just go away" and that it was no problem to just go about your daily life. The "we were too buys impeaching a corrupt president" line is going to be the "get out of jail free" card here but it is a load of horseshit. Just like his "we inherited bad testing" from Obama is a horseshit excuse.

My daughter had to go the the ER last night in Opelika, AL She told me it was empty almost. Today she had to go pick up her medicine at Walmart. She said that place was full of people, no wonder this thing not going away!

Timelines always require context of what else is going at the time of those headlines. It is easy to say you should have known if that is what you want the answer to be or if you have an agenda. Heck I thought this was being blown out of proportion until about 3 weeks ago. I have a general disposition of distrust what is being reported by the media and the politics behind it. I would be one of those slower to act until I had better proof backed with data that I trusted. There are different personality types that view events and information differently.

It's well documented the Democrats primary focus the last 3+ years has been impeaching POTUS Trump.

With regards with the POTUS, Fed, and State governments and how they handled coronavirus, I've stated numerous times in this thread my displeasure with how it's been handled.
