Think I am going to do Taco Wednesday. Ya'll making me hungry for Mexican. Has anyone tried the Walking Tacos?
In a Fritos bag or Doritos.

utside dining is still prohibited here, at least as far as restaurants go. I've never celebrated Cinco de Mayo though so it didn't effect me lol
To me, that's saying "I don't celebrate St. Patty's Day." Are you telling me you don't do ethnic holiday dishes? Some corned beef and cabbage ... 💓

I dont celebrate St. Pattys Day either lol I eat ethnic food, I just dont specifically do it on a certain day. Our local taco shop has Taco Thursdays (instead of Tuesday), though.

It's more about celebrating the specials, ya know? The spread these guys had out last year ... good lord, ate 'til I couldn't. That good. The year before that it was Tommy Condon's...if you're in Charleston. (Damn it, now I'm hungry.) They've got a Dublin Roll ... corned beef and Swiss with some veggies and their slaw...geez, slap somebody good.

Who was the reporter asking the question?

Jeff Mason of C-SPAN

It is really funny when Facts get in the way of Medias dumb ass questions that are just gotcha attempts. Stupid is as stupid does. Its groundhog day every day with most of the media.

What she did is gaslighting or just flat out lied. She said something that was dumb on TV and her response - rather than simply saying 'yea, I shouldnt have said that it was dumb - she instead asks if those media outlets would take back what they said ignoring (or just not caring) that most of them did, in fact, do just that or she was just lying... She cited Vox:

She cited WaPo but left out a very key part of the headline she read "For now" https://www.washingtonpost.com/heal...=wp_main&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

She cited a NY Times article and cited it as "fear of the virus may be spreading faster than the virus itself?" when it fact it said this: “In Europe, Fear Spreads Faster Than the Coronavirus Itself.”

And on and on. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...efense-saying-coronavirus-will-not-come-here/

I almost dont half blame her because it clearly works. You didn't care if what she actually said was true, she went after those "dumb media guys" and that made you feel good. And I definitely dont blame her for refusing to admit a fault. Her boss won't do that and would likely see her as being weak if she did. I do blame her for being a liar, though.

The White House appears to have changed how they handle pressers since POTUS Trump suggested injecting.

Jeff Mason I believe. She was prepared for that question, just waiting for the question to be asked.

The only difference I see is he is letting others talk more and does most of his nonsense on Twitter now. He still cant help himself though.

They all paint a picture that makes themselves look better and yes I would call that lying. If they need to leave out a subtle detail that is what they do. Crazy how people think their party is squeaky clean and the other is corrupt to the core.

There are many who believe admitting fault is a bad thing. I'm not one of those.

Many of the same who think saying "I don't know" is a negative.

She made a good point though. The press gets a free pass most if the time, and they don't reciprocate.

I wish things weren't so adversarial. Our politicians feed off this, we're collectively a bunch of sheep aimlessly following the herd.

The older I get, the more I respect a good old "I just don't know" response. Due to the combination of the internet, politics, and poor parenting it appears context and nuance are no longer afforded before everyone is expected to pick a side. With age (I'm 35) I'm seeing more grey area than black and white... If that makes sense. Now go ahead and get off my lawn! :D

Jesus Christ you're old.

Just saw on the ESPN crawl that the state of Oregon has shut down all large events, which of course includes major sports through September. That's a long, long ban...

Edit:

It's May...This just ridiculous.

People understand that our economy will not hold on until their is a cure right?

Have the bookies taken away 3 points from Oregon already against Ohio State :ROFLMAO:

Wondering how Ohio State handles this.

Seems like they're asking to not allow for sellouts, not preventing all fans from joining.

"The Oregon Health Authority is advising that any large gathering, at least through September, should be canceled or significantly modified."

Crazy to me their stadium is 54,000 fans.

PAC-12 is already missing out on TV dollars, losing out another $10M+ this year isn't going to help.
