| LIFE CV-19: Effects on life, work, and sports

The fucking numbers have been cooked since the beginning, to intentionally generate fear. I’m at the point I don’t believe anything a talking head has to say.

Speaking of Antifa... this is one of the rare times some of their group has strayed into an area where they aren’t protected. This was in Ft. Collins on Saturday. Admittedly, I did laugh near the end at the WWE street fight reenactment.

Conservative middle America has about had it with the socialist antics. They have been patient but that is only going to go so far. If the election turns south from their perspective they may not be as peaceful as in the past.

CV19 is a smart virus. It knows who to attack and who not to attack. Too many people in church? Y'all better look out. Too many people in a restaurant or bar? You're sure to catch it. Same thing in a gem or beauty shop, barber shop. Can you sit in the stadium to watch a game? Hell no, you will catch or spread the virus. This virus is smart enough to not spread in large numbers of protesters or the violent members of antifa or blm.
Oh, and it wont bother any of the large number of mourners at a big wigs funeral either. Hell of a virus.

A lot of people smarter than him working in this area? I sure hope so. This guy is a “performance scientist”, whatever the hell that is. Maybe I’ll ask an epidemiologist what it is.
He's specifically addressing myocarditis and the suggestion it's an unknown possibility when it's been proven that myocarditis is related to viral infections.

There is no need for an epidemiologist to be the one all, be all, on how a virus can affect the human body. Hell, your local family practitioner can tell you the same facts. Are you going to tell your doctor "I hope people are smarter than you are?" If your doctor would to give you advice, or offer an opinion on how a virus affects the body—in this case the heart—are you going to dismiss his opinion and defer to an epidemiologist?

I deleted your post calling a member here a Klan member. Keep the KKK/Klan bullshit off of our forum.

An amusing quip I heard several weeks ago...

A virus so deadly you have to take a test to see if you have it or not. I know the statement is made in jest but does it not make you stop and chuckle a bit? Weird times, eh?
I heard someone say the other day that they were afraid of catching it in a Zoom meeting because of something that they read. A Zoom meeting. I honestly thought that they were joking. Their reply was "it could travel from their ventilation system to mine". I was thinking "buddy, you got bigger problems than the risk of catching Covid"

I'd have a hard time taking anything seriously from that coworker.
