yupWe about to get screwed with a close ACC game If clemson wins.

That was counter to the crap McDonough and McElroy were saying which leads me to,......I'll add this too... this notion that just getting to your conference championship game in the shitty ACC or Big12 should guarantee you a spot in the playoffs is ridiculous. First of all, if it should be a guarantee, then it should be written into the agreement, and it isn't. Second of all, when it is written into the agreement in the near future, the shitty ACC and Big12 will still be left out of the guarantee, and for good reason.
I said I wouldn't get bent if Bama got left out, and I won't. That loss to OU was BAD. But I think it's also important to be honest about some of this stuff, and this isn't Upwards Football were mere participation by a team that can't beat good teams, gets a pass. At least it shouldn't be. Bama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina all deserve it over SMU.
Wah wah wahThat was counter to the crap McDonough and McElroy were saying which leads me to,......
Greg.....just shut the F up. We get it already! You are not biased. Whatever dude. I don't hear anyone go after their school on the network like he does. He can.t make a point without being apoplectic about it when it comes to his old school..
I think it's still possible to get it, but unlikely. I think they won't punish SMU for losing. Really, I don't think them or Clemson should be in. Neither team beat anyone of substance. Heck, we beat two teams that beat Clemson.

For a few teams, things have changed. For Bama, maybe seeding, but I don't see a difference in this morning and what I thought yesterday, or Friday, morning.but I think absolutes saying one way or another right now are premature and off the mark.
Roman Harper needs to be a defensive coordinator…He can get really annoying, really fast. Roman Harper should have his job on the radio and in the booth.
Who? And, who are they going against? They have purposely baited everyone into an expanded playoff next year…
They knew the 12 game would never be enough.. Look at the bitching and complaining from the ADs, coaches and fans… So they will eventually keep expanding the playoffs to appease as much as possible…Not to mention it will make more money..Who? And, who are they going against?
You dont think going to 16 is gonna stop the bitching. They knew the 12 game would never be enough.. Look at the bitching and complaining from the ADs, coaches and fans… So they will eventually keep expanding the playoffs to appease as much as possible…Not to mention it will make more money..
Enough with the pronouns. Whom? They knew the 12 game would never be enough.. Look at the bitching and complaining from the ADs, coaches and fans… So they will eventually keep expanding the playoffs to appease as much as possible…Not to mention it will make more money..
That’s the point… So they will keep expanding…You dont think going to 16 is gonna stop the bitching.
But what it might do
Is
Make teams strengthen schedules ....
More better games during season
The NCAA is they..A bigger playoff = even more money… The sweet 16 is coming for football.. and maybe more… bank on it..Enough with the pronouns. Whom?
No matter who you present, they aren't going to carry enough weight or offer enough value for ESPN to change their contract.
Committee listening to fans. Yeah, that qualifies as asinine.
Committee listening to coaches. Again, qualifies.
The AD at SMU influencing the opinion of the committee. That not only qualifies, but leads the list of...no.
I said this yesterday. The very things you bitch about (money influencing decisions) is something you choose to forget in conversations like this one. Qualification #4.
Hell, do your thing. I'm not on this bandwagon, this trail, this county, state, country, planet...
Y'all dug the hole, it's raining, and it's flooding. The solution, dig a bigger hole. You dont think going to 16 is gonna stop the bitching.

Sure cant control the rain n subsequent flooding.....( except for building a dam)Y'all dug the hole, it's raining, and it's flooding. The solution, dig a bigger hole.
In 43 days you're going to look back at this first year and find yourself realizing everything you were told about what would happen, happened.
They are going to have to do something… Because a lot of these bowl games will become meaningless to a lot of these bigger schools…A lot of op outs and just uninspired showings..Sure cant control the rain n subsequent flooding.....( except for building a dam)
What were we told....that we would have some games that.....were "wn or go home" &
Where best players didnt sit out....
Sure gonna be some....large margins....but watch for some really competitive games that matter
And as far as sec...how many ( all that i watched) ...where the analysis was...."ole ms could win this whole thing" and i think ( doesn't matter i know) ...was better team than bama .... but bama brand had them rated higher ( and vs smu...have to hope it holds)
