Maybe there is some more context to all that, but it sounds like he's talking about the south in general, including but not limited to auburn. And if so, hate to sort of agree with him (I do not like), but he's more right than wrong. But, it's also that passion that fans down here have that take the sport of football to the next level... with support, with money, etc. Basically, like hockey is up north.
And while we're here, I'll give him credit for actually becoming good enough to be a possible, if not likely, round 2 QB this April. I never saw that one coming (and said as much a fews years back on here), but then again, I envisioned him spending 4 or 5 years at auburn under Gus. I will double down and say he won't have a very productive NFL career... I just don't see him making the throws that the NFL game requires... but, he proved me wrong once.
