I think they are in contact with quite a few, not sure though of anything else imminent. They are in a week long dead period right now which slows things down a bit too... it runs through Thursday.

To my knowledge, I have heard nor read any comment from any staff member about how many they plan to have on the roster. Where he's coming up with 13? No clue. No idea why you would post something like this. Hell, he had Bethea headed to Miami yesterday.

I didn't see FSU play this year so out of curiosity I went to the school's site to look at some numbers. This kid has grown a few inches since his recruitment and enrollment at FSU. I don't think he'll hit a spurt to where he'll end up being as tall as his dad. Good genes for basketball; no doubt.

Update on Mo... this is a bit surprising as St. John's was the pretty clear cut frontrunner from the start. I'd imagine he made out pretty good money wise.

I don't think I'm as upset as most. I absolutely loved Dioubate's effort and tenacity. That said, he isn't worth the NIL he's demanding and I don't think his style really fits what Pope is trying to do. Definitely think he would flourish in St. John's style of play.

Here's where I find irony.

In the game thread you see comments about how Oats should hire Houston's defensive guy. Throughout the season, after practically each game, some folks would complain about the defense.

Mo made some of the most bone headed defensive plays of last season. I will never question his effort while at the Capstone. Decisions on the floor?

Earlier I'd mentioned how he asked for more money, got it, then came back for more. Wash, rinse, repeat.

While the "I deserve to start" has its own impact, UK creating a bidding war and winning was the salve I mentioned earlier. The three L's in a row have been the camel's straw.

There's a part of me that wishes Pearl would have gotten the UK job versus Pope. It would give me another thing to "hate."

Tyon Grant-Foster from Grand Canyon wouldn't be a bad grab if we could bring him in. He had a down year this year but he's capable of dropping 20 a game and shooting 40% from 3. He excelled last year when they had a better team, this year the team wasn't as good and he still got 15ppg but his shooting % went way down, likely because quality of looks diminished.

Didn't that dude have a career game vs us? I wouldn't be opposed. Averaged nearly 6 rebounds a game the last two seasons.
