Reid's situation and Mo's both changed in the span of the same few hours. I suspect some of the "raises" Mo kept demanding we "transferred."

I glanced at three mock drafts earlier and two had Philon as a first rounder.

Yea, I don't think it's going to happen. Philon is likely a 1st rounder maybe a late 1st but likely falls in that category. Reid will likely return to put some games in to raise his draft stock back up after injury riddled year.

There's two things with Philon:

1. He really wants to be in the NBA. And the staff brought him in with the intent that he would be one and done.

2. He loves Oats and Alabama. He and Holloway are also best friends. That said, it all comes down to NIL.

There's a guy I follow on X that coined the phrase, "Mo's Bro's" around the beginning of the season. That tells me you aren't alone with the "favorite player" moniker. In case you missed it Mo said a few weeks ago he was expecting a starting role next season. I don't see him as that fit, but that's beside the point. "I'm expecting a starting role next season?" Say you have an employee you agree to pay $20 an hour. A few weeks later he comes back and asks for $30. Then, a few weeks later he comes back and asked for $40. After you have agreed to the first two, he comes back a third time and asked for more.
