Pretty good batch of rain moving into the area for the rest of the afternoon... I guess there's at least a decent chance this could end up as a Saturday DH... which I'd personally prefer. We'll see.

I hope it does. On my way to town now and getting hammered with rain from Carrollton through Talladega so far. Playing in a travel tournament in Hoover this weekend. Saw tomorrow's game is at 1 and sucks because we play at 10:30 and 2:00. Double header would give us a chance to catch one.

Rain moved out, they just delayed the start of the game for 30 minutes. So, just 1 game tomorrow.

Belting the ball out of the park today. I know Mizzou is trash but I really hope this is a sign that this team will start hitting better long balls.

I do know it'll take Vaughn some time to get things going, but our fans need to support the baseball program better. Saturday afternoon, 30+ win team right now, and it's pretty mid. Just seems like a complete spit in the athletes face who do everything to represent the university and program.

It would help if they lowered concession prices. It doesn't impact me since I don't bring a car full of kids, but I know several families that have to really pick and choose which and how many games they go to because of the cost. And while nobody forces anyone to buy food and drinks, it's damn hard to take kids to a game and not get them food and such.

Up 8-0 in the 2nd with 3 bombs in the inning. Good to see the guys focused. Usually once a series is clinched, players tend to get DGAFs and play sloppy in the sweep game.

10-1 in the 4th. Zane pitching a gem, had 1 mistake giving up a HR, but overall pitching a solid game. Mizzou is not a good team but their hitting has not been the issue with them this year.
