Gonna need Lebron to climb out of this slump soon. Weird seeing him struggle at the plate... cause it had never happened until this month.

Still batting .317, aint bad, but yeah, better to slump now and get it cranked back up at the end of the season.

I'd still rather have him up there in a big situation than most anyone else right now, but his conference average is down .100 from last season. He's currently 4 for his last 31 in SEC play. They gotta get him recalibrated if Bama wants a chance at any postseason success... and I figure they will.

Had hoped to make it over today, life happens and ended up with a pile of chores around the house. Listened to the game on the Varsity app and followed on Statbroadcast as well.

Ballgame. Run rule Mizzou 12-1 in 7 innings for the sweep. Zane with a 4 hitter.

Can't overstate 2 things enough... 1- How bad Mizzou is relative to other SEC baseball teams. Not often an SEC school sweeps another SEC school and falls in the RPI rankings, which is on the table for Bama. 2- How important it was for Bama to get that 3 game sweep. That puts UA at 12-9 in the SEC now with series at Vandy, home vs. UGA, and at a resurging Florida team left.

I liked how the team (for the most part) swung the bats today, but honestly, 3 games into a Mizzou series, that's how it should be. Lebron's struggles is concerning. Torres has homered 2 games in a row, but he's a hole in the lineup right now that needs to be filled via shuffling. Still need to get some things back on track for the stretch run, and it won't be easy from here on out. Next up, tough series at Vandy...

Yep... pitiful how bad Mizzou is. Good news is, the remaining 10 games (Troy included) are all Quad 1 games, with Vandy and UGA sitting right there at the top.
