"Foster?" was meant to question what number he'd wear next season. When I saw the tweet from Blake about #8 I thought of Foster. (IF my life had depended on it, I wouldn't have known he wore #4 in high school.) When Matt mentioned #4, I knew that was Charlot's number.
I saw a few suggest he might transfer and that speculation was purely based on the number change. It doesn't pass the logic test. If he were to transfer, he'd have to sit out 2016. Right now, he's on pace to graduate in the next academic year which would allow him to transfer, without penalty, if he chose to do so.
So ... we're left with Foster playing for Bama in '16 and if he chose to play another year of college ball (elsewhere) he could as a grad transfer without having to sit. IF he chose to leave now, he's sitting a year and then playing in 2017. Where's the benefit?
