Other things Barber believes.

I'm fine with that thinking... just keep on thinking that way. Last year you coulda/shoulda put 60 on us and this year you were the better team. Seems to be working just fine for Bama... I hope they Keep Gus the Head Coach for many years to come. As long as he's heading up that program, they'll never be more than a star player good team... ie, without a Cam Newton (or magic fufu dust), they'll be average or below and I don't think Gusy Gus can get a Cam very often...

So he's still in denial.... That's why the barn didn't have 200 yards of total offense without the one tip pass catch of 77 yards. The barn still wants to be like Bama but it just isn't so.
In preseason, it was the coach yapping about shoulda, coulda, ... 60 points... I think the whole dang school is like that.

This is typical barner bullshit after another loss in the Iron Bowl. That idiot's comment is right in line with everything with that mentally challenged fan base says and does. I know some of their fans who STILL hold up the six fingers, and in fact, are doing so RIGHT NOW as we speak. :eyeroll: While the number of auburn fans who actually do that has dwindled a good bit over the years, the fact is some of them are stupid enough to not only still do it, but to think that it has any bearing on the present time. It's just sad, really. One of my barner co-workers greeted me with the 6 fingers, to which I replied "yes, we have now won 6 of the last 8". Then they tried to change it and say "uhh, naw, I meant kick six!! har har har". I replied "what, you just now heard about that?" They can have their two year old miracle win over us.

I have heard some real stupidity from them over the course of my life. Whether it was trying to explain that games like 36-0, 42-14, and 49-0 were not the blowouts that they appeared to be, or talking about what a mastermind Brian Van Gorder was/is and had he been retained after Chizik was fired, they would have the best defense in the nation year in and year out. They NEVER take their losses. We beat them last year, and still all they could say was "6 in a row, huh huh huh" or gotta second". We returned to the very location of their beloved kick 6, and beat them and they STILL reference that game. Nothing they say or do surprises me anymore. And to top it all off, the same jack asses who chest beat over their 6-6 record and talk about how auburn is going to be an "absolute beast next year" won't drive a few miles up the road to support their team in the Birmingham Bowl.

Barber is butthurt because he rushed for 29 yards on 8 carries, or 3.6 per attempt. They were really puffing him up to be another back to go over the 1,000 yard mark and he got his feelings hurt since he didn't do shit against us.

Loser attitude. If you always think you're better, no matter the results, then there's no incentive to perfect your craft to become better. I do not like Gus but I doubt he preaches this kind of attitude and Im sure, if given the chance, Muschamp would shoot a bazooka into the face of loser attitude guy.

"We should have dropped 60 on em" - Gus last season after the loss to Bama... Sounds like the same bullshit Barber was spewing to me.
