🏈 GAME THREAD 🏈⭐ LSU vs Alabama ⭐🏈

Ya know, I got all prepared to come on here and just dump all over this team (and believe I will be to an extent) but damn it, that offense deserves all the credit in the world. They (and special teams) made every mistake you can think of in that first half but damn Tua is a damn man. Every single person that has called him soft over the last few weeks can seriously kiss my ass. This dude went on there on one leg and absolutely shredded LSU to pieces in the second half. And damn it, Najee deserves just as much credit. Completely put the offense on his shoulders in that third quarter.

We got a lot of issues on defense, fellas. A LOT. Any good offense is going to shred this defense up. Clemson and Ohio State would do exactly what LSU did. Even when the offense got going, they couldn't get just one stop on those last three drives. That's all we needed. Just one. Hell, even hold em to a field goal on one of those TD drives. I honestly don't know where to start. There is zero confidence in those freshmen linebackers, we saw guys that have gotten little to no playing time on the field instead of them today. Jennings and Lewis are the only players that can get any semblance of a pass rush but they can only play a handful of drives a game because if you play em more than that they'll get hurt. Every level of the defense is utter absolute trash and IMO every single defensive coach needs to be gone. Period.

Kudos to the offense for hanging in there and really keep fighting but everyone is going to wonder "what if" about that pick at the end of the half, the mistakes (Tua's fumble and Perine's unforgivable botched snap) in the first half, too. Just bad, man.

Well, I won’t have to drive far to attend our Bowl game down there on Graymont Avenue 😂😂

Oh yeah totally, we lost to LSU so that means its Dollar General Bowl or bust. Good grief.

Without a doubt the worst group Nick's had since 2007.

Without a doubt, man. Some on here have sunshine pumped about the defense the last few weeks but this is as bad as it has been on defense since Shula's last year.

@BamaBoyJosh

Amen!
Auburn is not going to be a pushover with our defense playing the way it is playing. This defense is average at best. We could be looking at 2 losses for the regular season.
Lot of credit for our offense playing better in the 2nd half, we stunk all around in the 1st half. Harris carried this team and Tua flat out competed on one foot. Much respect to them!

A LOT of teams would kill for just a two-loss season. ROLL TIDE!!

Drowning my sorrows, if you couldn’t already tell 😆 Sometimes I gotta get hammered and giggle to keep from sobbing. This is one of them times 😢

Defense should truly be ashamed of themselves. That.was.embarrasing.

You know what, I take it back. They shouldn't be ashamed. You either have it or you don't and well, looks like they don't, be it either from a physical standpoint or coaching. We also really really missed our starting linebackers tonight. I believe they could/would have made the difference. The other guys did what they could in spite of missing links though so I give them props for the effort. Defense held them to what, two scores after halftime? The first half from LSU (and Bama's inexplicable turnovers) was just too much to overcome in the end.

2 missed TD's unfortunately in the first half. Could, woulda, shoulda. Is what it is. Tua was definitely hurting but continued to push through. Major props to him and Harris both. Great game. Clawing back to lose by only 5 ain't bad at all. We're still in this.....

7-13 on 3rd down. That’s not Alabama defense.
Lmao whenever they lose the other team

Quick question my dude. Do you support the defensive coaches? I blame the wretched state of the defense on the youth more so than the coaches.

I gotta say this. I am kind of relieved to pretty much be out of the hunt. I haven't watched a game in many, many years that I did not take personally. That's my fault, but maybe I can watch a game for fun finally. I seriously have trouble actually watching and usually play games on my phone and post on boards while just looking up when I hear Eli get loud during games. So, I don't like losing at all, but as a fan sometimes I really need them to lose to recenter myself.

So...here’s the thing...Georgia needs to beat the barn next week so that they won’t have a shot at the playoffs. Unbelievable that those fuckers are still ranked so highly and still in the playoff discussion after 2 losses

7,99,24,33,15,21 are all SR's. How many times did you see 99,21,7,make a play? Hell #24 missed big plays all night long. #36 is pathetic and he continues to run out on the field.

Beating Miss State is going to be a challenge since Bama will have a bad case of the poor pitiful me's. The worst tackling team as a whole that I recall.

Tua's fumble on the opening drive was most likely the difference in the game. We were going in for 7. As bad as we played with turnovers and penalties.
Maybe since he kind of set the tone for one fuk up after another but my choice is the decision made to try and score right be half with less than a minute. Just snap the ball and run the clock and get to the locker and come up with a plan to play better in the 2nd half. That pick by 13 was a killer.
