I really don't understand how any Alabama fan can go into this game thinking Alabama isn't gonna win. These aren't the Shula days.

I picked LSU to win simply bc IMO their defense and field goal kicking is better than ours. The Tigers had also beat several top 10 teams already this year. For the first time in a very long time, I thought they was the better team.

I did not have an overly confident feeling about this game and primarily it was because I had a feeling Tua will not be close to 100% and may even be a liability if he forces it. Najee was running like a beast right from the start... Why didn't we run him more??? It was almost like Sark was over-trying to show that Tua was fine so they respect the pass. I don't know. In retrospect, I even wonder if maybe Mac should have started.

Ah well... whaddya gonna do. Sure there were some messed up calls and we shot ourselves in the foot a few times (Did the ghost of Christmas past knock the ball out of Tua's hand?? ), but we couldn't stop their offense. They had 29 first downs and 34:34 in possession and they were scoring TDs. Add in to that, we had something like 3 or 4 three and out drives. They earned the W.

Now, before we worry about stumbling into the Playoffs by some miracle, we better focus first on just getting our mojo back... and quickly.

7,99,24,33,15,21 are all SR's. How many times did you see 99,21,7,make a play? Hell #24 missed big plays all night long. #36 is pathetic and he continues to run out on the field.

Beating Miss State is going to be a challenge since Bama will have a bad case of the poor pitiful me's. The worst tackling team as a whole that I recall.

Actually, 24 is still a junior eligibility wise based on playing 1 game in 2 years before this season. That said, he will certainly declare early to try and get paid to play this game versus returning for another

Where was the focus? Who are the leaders on this team?

I don't know how vocal he is but I would say watching your Heisman candidate/guaranteed first round draft pick QB go out there on one leg and absolutely blister LSU in that second half would be pretty damn motivating...

A tackle is still considered a tackle even if the offensive player drags you 7 yards before going down.
