Watching this Eagles Bucs game tonight. Hurts struggles. He’s back to what he was doing his sophomore season at Bama, takes the snap, rolls right and either runs out of bounds or throws it away just before the sideline. Done it countless times tonight. Once he slid right before the sideline and lost a yard. 84 yards passing and in the 4th quarter. And the Bucs are down at least 2 DB starters. I still don’t know how he threw for so many yards at OK. I know they play less defense, but still.

Constant pressure in his face, but sometimes I don’t get NFL play calling. Hurts does hold on to the ball a bit too long at times instead of letting it rip. I’m out here in Vegas and a lot of people praise Carr. But I think he holds onto the ball too long as well. There should never be a reason to under throw Ruggs in a one on one situation.

I preface this by saying I love Jalen Hurts for his time at Bama and pull for him to be fantastic in the NFL. That being said, a lot of the Eagle fan complaints about him are about the same things we would complain about when he struggled: he locks on one read and takes off if that person isn't open. That was something he made huge strides with at Bama and now he appears to have regressed some.

"Eagles fans complaints." It's that a bit redundant?
I was listening to an ESPN radio station this morning while biking that was out of that area and their suggestion/complaint was the offensive coordinator/coaches weren't using Hurts ability to run to complement their passing attack.
I suspect, based on what I've read and heard, the Eagles are going to be looking for a QB in the '22 draft.
He's got two seasons in, right? A third has him vested in the NFL retirement program. As it stands how he'll get about 50K when he retires as I understand their system.
Probably a coach too. Hurts is not getting what he needs for sure. I am sure someone will give Hurts a chance though. I'd be more than happy to see Atlanta pick him up if the Eagles decide to move on. A little time behind Ryan and coming in for packages might do him good.
If there's one lesson I've learned in life it's avoid ATL pro sports discussions. I hope he does land in a good spot and in that situation it would probably serve him well.
He could make a good coach. He is very team oriented and a good motivator. Not sure how any of his other skills will translate since he hasn't done it yet, but he should have a decent base for it.
There were a couple times where Hurts hit helped with a pass interference call on a under throw, When he should have let it go well before he finally did. One on one and no safyey over the top let it ride and put it out there

I saw the same Chase. I think at least a third of not more than half of his passing yards also came on underthrows. The 2 that got PI flags ended up big gainers.
