The Hornung Award is relatively new award compared to most, but it was one of the very few major awards that an Alabama player had yet to win. There's about 25 major individual awards and most have been won at least once during the Saban years alone which is amazing. The few the Tide has been shut out of is Davey O'Brien (Mac may win this year), Groza (Reichard may win this year), Mackey (Tight ends), Burlsworth (day 1 walk-on's), Ray Guy (JK Scott should have won one), Uplifting Athletes award (for special circumstances like players beating cancer and such), and the Stallings award (which Saban will win at some point I'm sure).
