Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is the Associated Press College Football Player of the Year, giving the Crimson Tide their second consecutive winner.

Young received 42 of 53 first-place votes from AP Top 25 voters and 137 points to easily finish ahead of Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson (four first-place votes, 67 points) for the AP Player of the Year.

Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett was third, Alabama linebacker Will Anderson Jr. was fourth and Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud was fifth.

Not directed at you. But frustrated at the fact that Anderson had better stats and is a better player than hutchinson yet hutchinson is propped up by the media as being the better player

Still trying to figure out how Davis is the best defensive player in the country when Will plays in that country.
Agree 100%! Total disrespect for Will Anderson! One commentator mentioned that Jordan's value is not reflected in stats but in what he brings to jawja's defense. I'm like WTF does that mean? He has 28 tackles (14 solo, 14 assisted) with 2 sacks in 13 games. Phildarian Mathis has 46 tackles ( 16 solo, 30 assisted) with 8 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries in 13 games. Soooo how does this work again? There is so much HATE and FATIGUE for BAMA and the players at this point. There is absolutely no reason to penalize Will for his effort and hard work.

I honestly believe they give to players that are on ESPN all the time. Players the media has circled and saw in the pre-season magazines with doing zero research. How the hell did Kayvon Thibodeux make the All-American team? He sucks and will be a bust, mark it down. He was hurt most of the year and didn't even play the Ohio State game. It's all a slight to the guys that did put up the numbers. I can understand Davis a little, but they are all enamored with his size more than his ability. The dang Heisman took Championship Saturday into consideration, and if these guys had, Davis would not be anywhere near the awards show.

Anyone surprised that #8 Harris has not gotten some mentions in the awards? Earlier part of year there were some struggles but latter part of the year he was playing much better.
