This chart will be updated regularly to reflect the most up to date roster outlook for 2026.

The Transfer Portal will be open from Friday, January 2nd until Friday, January 16th. Players will have those 2 weeks to enter the portal, but can sign after the portal closes. The 2 teams that play in the CFP National Championship Game will have a five-day portal period from January 20-24.

Note- Players in Red were either starters or significant contributors who played 150+ non-special teams plays in 2025.

JMO there is NOTHING these coaches can do to defeat Ben Franklin. All that relationship BS is OVAH.

The fans are going to be the people that shut it all down. When they have had enough and stop buying tickets then it stops. These players and their families don't give a damn about the school they're playing for. You shouldn't be surprised.

it matters only on like offers... ie, if a school is willing to pay over value for a player it won't matter. But when in a like to like offer I would expect it would matter.

I think Bama is fine at skill players but have we really done much at all to fix the OL and DL? Now apparently even Haywood is waffling. Better start making some progress in the trenches or it’s going to be a long season.

i don't know... i'm finding it harder and harder to like college football... it just seems so much pay to play with the yearly turnover. I hope they stop the unlimited transfers and start implementing some sort of 1 time free transfer and after that you have to sit a year... something to make it not a free agent every year.

Also, why the heck isn't the National championship game not played yet. It's way too late in Jan for this to still be going on. They need to fix the post season in the worst way.... it's a mess.

It's taking the joy out of college football, at least for me. I can't keep up. When I follow my team ('81 grad), I watch the players develop, I watch the team chemistry develop, I watch the loyalty and effort..... no more. It's just a revolving door now. Just the gripes from an old man who doesn't like change.

i think they redid the portal windows for this year and there is only one. January 2nd to January 16th should be the only "portal" windows. This also covers the graduate transfer window too... so you should know your team on Jan 16th.

Yes, but to add a couple of things... Indiana and Miami will have an extra 5 day portal window, but everyone else must be in by this Friday's deadline. However, once in, it could be spring or summer before they latch onto a team (technically). The players don't have to sign with anyone this week. Or next. Though most of the good ones left won't drag their feet too long.
