This chart will be updated regularly to reflect the most up to date roster outlook for 2026.

The Transfer Portal will be open from Friday, January 2nd until Friday, January 16th. Players will have those 2 weeks to enter the portal, but can sign after the portal closes. The 2 teams that play in the CFP National Championship Game will have a five-day portal period from January 20-24.

Note- Players in Red were either starters or significant contributors who played 150+ non-special teams plays in 2025.

Sounds like it's more like MLB, and we're not the Dodgers or Yankees. Thank goodness some teams spend without results...I guess aTm = Mets.

I think Bama is fine at skill players but have we really done much at all to fix the OL and DL? Now apparently even Haywood is waffling. Better start making some progress in the trenches or it’s going to be a long season.

Be patient. You think staff is sitting on their butt doing nothing? They're doing their best. They're bringing bunch of OL and DL folks for visits. What more do you want them to do?

I'm going to offer up a bit of "Patience is a virtue" wisdom to some of you, a few of you guys are being way too negative with every addition...some of these additions are immediate impact players some are just depth/fillers for development.

I will say, the trend so far in this portal cycle has mostly been to get guys with 2+ years left of eligibility. My guess? They're looking to develop these guys more and build the recruiting base from the ground and have the developmental approach they want. It's possible and likely that the team is moving to more of a "developmental" year this upcoming year. There's a real possibility that we are good, but not great this year as we break in a bunch of RS Soph-True Freshman OL additions along with a new QB and some other young talents.

That to be said, we definitely have the playmakers to catch lightning in a bottle. I think with Mack/Russell we also have the ability to do more DUAL Threat type plays, allowing legs to be used more. I'll be interested to see if the play calling changes a bit with more RPO options or whatnot for adjustments with the younger QBs. I think we'll be a good team probably top 15 again this year, so be patient, and trust the administration.

It's too soon for me to say it and I rather wait until fall camp to see it, but if CKD and Grubb fixes it with grabbing right pieces out of portal and so far they have done that, I really think offense will be on same level as Defense was this year. With the right coaching on OL and RB..... Well see huge improvement.

We just need to see Alabama football trending in the right direction this fall and I'll be happy. No expectations.

We gotta stop saying " they better do this and that" regarding the coaching staff ... It sounds silly. I think we'll hear a commitment today or tonight.

Lane handled Ole Miss the same way this past year and he saw amazing returns. I understand he's gotta do that with LSU on steroids to get to that level due to it being his first season, but I would be shocked if his season is sub-par. What are LSU's standards, 10-wins? Gonna be tough with their schedule next year, bit not impossible if we manages his roster like he did at Ole Miss.
