48 catches, for 571 yards, 11.9 Av
18 kickoff returns for 514 yards, 28.6 Av
1 punt return for 27 yards

Everyone knows that if you aren't a good blocker for your QB
in the backfield, you would not get much PT under CNS.

Not bad all around college career, considering his RB team mates
getting the bulk of the rushes. Also, all star receivers being thrown
the bulk of pass attempts.
The most surprising thing is that he never attempted a pass.

JMO there is NOTHING these coaches can do to defeat Ben Franklin. All that relationship BS is OVAH.

The fans are going to be the people that shut it all down. When they have had enough and stop buying tickets then it stops. These players and their families don't give a damn about the school they're playing for. You shouldn't be surprised.
There is still one thing that is undefeated.

Please give Bama some battle tested offensive linemen. There are other needs, but I still beg of this first.

He's not the only billionaire in the state. He's just the only one that has publicly available information to show it. Paul Bryant, Jr. was a billionaire 25 years ago. He's a pretty good businessman, I'm guessing he's a little better off now.

You meant USF, right? As we've touched on, the USF talent was head and shoulders above AAC and G5. We'll see how it rates next year at auburn.
Yes sir, USF. I always get the Florida acronym schools crossed up. :p

Portal News Continued:

Bama is offering and hosting UL-Monroe OT Que McBroom

Started 12 games for the ULM guys this year was the #1 Juco OT in 2024 class.

I've looked it over, possibly solid pick-up here depending on things (He is filing for another year of eligibility with the NCAA) he allowed two sacks in the last two years playing for ULM He played last year some sparingly and all of this year as the starter. I am intrigued by this piece, it may be a good one maybe not. Either way, it's an older veteran presence on the OL similar to Racin, I like experienced pieces as options.

Bama offered Center Racin Delgatty out of Cal Poly

He's started for the last two seasons 22 games played, 1316 snaps played (Has only allowed 1 sack over that time)

I am impressed, definitely against lesser competition but he's got some violence and technique to him. I like his use of hands and when he finds himself with nobody, he doesn't float, he attacks another defender and puts em on the ground. This is the kind of guy I'm interested in from the lower levels....

Bama is hosting NC State WR Noah Rodgers

35 catches for 478 yards. Bama is looking to add some depth to the WR room...I don't know much about this kid..he's a RS Freshman and honestly I think he's something you can take a chance on to develop but I think we'd be better off finding someone from the lower levels for cheap and see if it pans out with a Junior or Senior...everyone said the visit has gone well. He's slated to leave today not much else on this.

Bama is also kicking the tires with a few more...and we're still waiting on Oregon and Ole Miss to start shedding players via the portal...get ready because the next 3 days of portal entries from those schools may be 20+ from each one and then Indiana and Miami will have more when their window opens.

Players have until Friday to enter their name into the portal...the portal doesn't close though for players to return or for players to sign with new schools. It's just the deadline to enter for anyone not in the National Championship game. There is a separate window for Indiana and Miami and it will last for 5 days AFTER the game has concluded.

I will say, this will be people that these teams probably DONT want to keep but a few of these may be guys looking for better paydays or more playing time, so finding the right pieces in amongst the rabble is a good strategy.

ANOTHER NOTE: There is a dead period from January 12-14th this year (Due to a coaching convention) Kind of weird so likely nothing much will happen over the next two days. Doesn't mean we won't have information or signings but there won't be any visitors likely or anything of that nature so don't freak out if it's very quiet for the next two days in the portal...doesn't mean the staff isn't figuring it out.

Striking out on 75% of the blue chip transfers and now tossing out offers to players from the likes of Cal Poly and LA Monroe.

Man, there's a sense of dread brewing. Morning, even.

It feels like our glorious days of being the tail that wagged college football's dog has flatlined and the plug has been pulled.

Seasons like this last one will be more the perennial norm instead of the abbhorent exception.

We may as well sit Shiva at this point.

Interesting thought if this were CNS we would all give him the benefit of the doubt because of his proven track record at recruiting and evaluating talent. These guys will be hungier than some of the blue chip guys and even less expensive but in the end as Smart said you cannot out coach recruiting. Statistical probablity that you hit on multiple diamonds in the ruff are not good in my opinion.
