| MBB/WBB đźŹ€ 2024-25 Pre-season - Tide opens the season Monday night

We had a similar thread last year, and like it, I will update this one with the movement as it happens and next season's roster takes shape. Obviously, all the players in red that are set to return, won't. And others will be added via the portal. But I'll keep this updated and keep track of it as it all unfolds. As always, let me know of any errors/mistakes.

Also, keep in mind, there are 13 scholarship spots available per season. As of now, Alabama is +2 (15 scholarshipped players), which means at a minimum, 2 of the following will not return.

Guess the Griffen news comes at a perfect times with the Chris Youngblood news. I just hate losing a player that has been here for two seasons.
I believe it's called hedging your bets. They had an inkling as did some that he may leave because he was so ready to leave last season but honestly I had heard nothing but good things. I wonder if in his head he's just like Proctor and missing home, he may honestly come to regret his decision in the end.

If he was missing home, he would go to SMU or Texas Christian. ;) Probably wanting some more money IMO.

This could be an indication that MS plans to return. JQ did the same thing last year. I’m thinking some of these guys are not happy playing second fiddle when it comes to the media and publicity.

So I think Wague and Pringle might be next. IF that gives us 10 spots filled, So we can fill 3... 2 Guard and 1 Bigs.

I think Omuryi is the one we get at Center. Pretty sure we've locked up Youngblood at this point. Then it's a guess as the next two options. We could be getting the recruit who honestly would be a long-term win. Or we could continue into the portal to find more help.
