I saw where a team is backing out of another bowl game? before I could see which team it was! Facebook did an update. Now I can't find it now? So did any body else see this is it on twitter?

I like the SEC winning because the perception benefits the conference and could potentially benefit us in a year where we may need it. I love the hate we receive from the Big Ten. Rough start though.

sec Wins count for who is the best conference. It is fodder for the talking heads. They will trash us anyway.
Some will trash the SEC regardless but they’ll thrash the conference a whole lot more if SEC teams fall flat in the bowl games. And since Bama plays in the SEC it always looks nice on their record to have as many fellow members end up on the Top 25 as is possible. So, I definitely pull for the SEC to win non-conference games in the regular season and in bowl games. I’m for anything that makes Bama look better!

Miami, Virginia, Hawaii cancel! I heard that Wisconsin had all ready travel to Hawaii to play in the game. Next year we should have a bowl game called the Covid Bowl.

The whole "must have 53 scholarship players" is BS. Technically you only need 11 guys to field a team. I want a Cumberland vs GA Tech type game, but I would love to see a team of all walk ons and practice squad guys actually win one (which could happen in some cases). Start charging these schools millions to skip the bowl because their method of keeping the team from getting sick is garbage and this shit will stop.

Was Jones the last name of the QB for Arkansas some 12-15 years ago? A real tall guy who could cover 40 quickly because of his long stride; you know the one. Matt Jones?

He was a tall guy who looked a little odd—at the time—due to his height. But this QB from Nevada? 6'9"? He looks like the type who would snap like a toothpick.

Yes, Matt Jones. Went to the NFL as a tight end. Not sure how long he lasted.
