A&M opting out and Missouri losing to Army … not a good look for the SEC so far. Bowl games used to mean a bunch to the players, coaches and the fans. That’s no longer true and it saddens an old fan like me.

With the bowl game added to accommodate all the six win teams that left us with 45 bowl games this year.
90 teams with what we'll can an average of 85 participating. (Realistically, we could say 125 on a staff/team and still be under.)
That's 7650 players where less than 2% will play football after college.
A quarter of those players are playing in the last game of their life.

A it's called meaningless.

The number of UCF fans wearing their 2017 "National Champions" shirts is almost hilarious. What makes it hilarious is how many look brand new.

That definitely is one of the better setups like that. Most are very haphazard and look crappy.

That one was purpose built to be able to do all of that and is a perfect example of it done right. Too many times we see stadiums not meant to swap around try to do so and it sucks.

I tried watching the UF game. But that bus was on the sideline! But I did see where all carp broke out at the end!
