Clark Boler, 12/16. Shopping with his wife at an Acworth, GA bookstore. His wife and I started a conversation as we were both wearing Bama caps and she proceeded to tell me all about her husband, who was on the '61 Championship team as a Freshman. He was a fixture in Georgia high school coaching circles, and was awarded the Bryant Alumni Athlete Award this year. Interesting that while he was waiting to play as a freshman, he played basketball and baseball for Bama as well. Very interesting fellow, one of those nice chance encounters.

and i met and got a picture with Tyrone Prothro before the '10 Iron Bowl. Tyrone was at the Region's Bank booth where he works.

and my dad has met and got autographs from numerous coaches and players

I wouldn't bet that there is one of Coach Bryant's former players among this forum's membership. I which case meeting Coach Bryant in their own living room when he came to visit them would "step" indeed.

I too met Coach Bryant back in the day, on his practice field, but then again this threat was about who we have seen lately...sort of a Where Are They Now themed thread.
