I haven't posted much here lately the past few months because my first born son was born on April 3rd. But he seems to be my good luck charm for the Crimson Tide. I was a alcoholic and I'm not ashamed to say it to you guys, but my son changed my life and he has been in his Alabama jerseys since his birth and has made me a different man. I thank the Lord for him every day. I could go on and on about the little miracle he is but that would be a different forum.
But on to my point, I thought we would beat Clemson, I had faith. I thought if we ( my bad, the Crimson Tide) showed up for the Razorbacks, it would show if we were finally here. After that game I thought if we could beat the Dawgs just a little at their home in their "Black Out" we were finally here. But I'm still scared every game, and my family and I all talk that every game should scare us. We never knew what Bama team was going to show up.
It was Tulane back in 92 that was our close game we could have lost, right? But we all say since the Clemson game they looked like that 92 team that just went and destroyed anyone they played.
It was Tulane right that almost beat us (or had a chance)? Right?
But I love the fact that the Crimson Tide scare people and are finally back on a national level. I thought either next year or the year after we would get there. After Arkansas and GA, I thought I would calm down. But I love the feeling of wondering what is going to happen next week, because now it is different.
Now after 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and so forth, it's not which Bama team shows up. It's which team wants to show up to Bama. I am still scared and worried about Kentucky. I, like most Bama fans worry which team will Bama bring to play. But those days look like they maybe a thing of the past. although I thought the big wins would calm me down, but they have brought nothing but excitement to me and all Bama fans that this could be our year. Win or lose out the rest of the season, Bama football is getting closer to being back to where people expect Bama to be. And thats the TOP!. Roll Tide and God Bless all of you.
Here is to a great season, injury free for everyone, and everyone having a great time with their family's and friends enjoying one of God's greatest gifts to all of us. Getting to be with family and friends, Having a little miracle that changes your life, and just spending time with the people you love. Although I have family and friends that are Auburn and LSU, but God loves us all, ( I think he really loves the Tide better).
God bless ya all and its getting time to go put my son in his Bama Jersey. Roll Tide!
